Syntropic Initiative increases access to STEM education for everyone through immersive internships, structured mentorship programs, and open-source resources. Corporate sponsorships directly fund STEM education, providing the essential hardware, machinery, and funds to sustain and grow local youth robotics teams and educational programs.

Syntropic Initiative's immediate milestone is securing $10,000 in funds to purchase shared machinery, donate parts to equal-opportunity local teams, and launch our community STEM educational programs. As the season progresses, these resources will power students as they design, build, and iterate high quality robots that will compete in many prestigious events across the globe.
Ways To Invest
Syntropic Initiative is open to both direct financial contributions and in-kind donations of VEX legal hardware and machining equipment. In-kind donations will receive the same tier benefits and recognition as an equivalent monetary donation. We are always willing to discuss additional benefits and recognition.

2026 Program Expenses
2026 Program Expenses
Syntropic Initiative will direct all funding to students through its core programs. Approximately 30% of the budget will be used for parts donations and resources for inclusive local teams, and the remaining 70% will be split between mentorship and internship programs which provide volunteer opportunities for members of local teams and engineers at tech companies to pass on their knowledge.

Middle School Guest Talks
Format: Online or in-person, flexible schedule
Experience Needed: Engineering background necessary
Description: Guest speakers will give an overview of their engineering career, and inspire middle schoolers to pursue engineering tracks in high school and college.
High School Team Guest Talks
Format: Online or in-person, flexible schedule
Experience Needed: Engineering background necessary
Description: Guest speakers will give an in-depth perspective of what they do on a day-to-day basis, and the higher education pathways students need to reach their professional goals.
Volunteers for Introductory Middle School Classes
Format: In-person, fixed schedule
Experience Needed: No experience needed
Description: Volunteers will assist with introductory middle school classes, helping to foster team cooperation and a supportive learning environment.
Robotics Interview Coaching
Format: Online, flexible schedule
Experience Needed: Engineering background preferred
Description: Volunteers will help teams prepare for VEX interviews by asking them questions about their robot, programming, and teamwork, and giving suggestions on how to improve responses.
Digital Engineering Notebook Review
Format: Online, flexible schedule
Experience Needed: Engineering background preferred
Description: Online volunteers will review team engineering notebooks and give suggestions on how to improve their engineering process and documentation.
