Syntropic Initiative provides immersive internship opportunities for students entering competitive VEX robotics. Our programs provide hands-on experience enabling interns to acquire knowledge and skills rapidly and preparing them to become the team leaders of tomorrow.

Syntropic Initiative mentors provide on-site technical guidance to local teams, fostering team growth and success with expert advice. Syntropic Initiative holds mentorship programs at local middle schools, preparing younger students for a competitive high school robotics experience.

Historically, newly started and smaller VEX teams have a tight budget for tools and parts, and lack access to expensive tools such as CNCs and laser cutters. Syntropic Initiative bridges this gap by providing grants, donating parts, and buying CNCs and laser cutters that are available for local team use.

How does Syntropic Initiative divide up funds from corporate sponsorships?
Syntropic Initiative will utilize 50% of funds to empower local teams. 40% of funds will be used for parts donation and grants for local teams and the other 10% will be used to purchase advanced machinery available for local team use. The other 50% of funds will be spent on parts and event organization for Syntropic Initiative's internship and mentorship programs that directly support the next generation of STEM leaders.

Recognition of sponsors and donors will be put on the Syntropic Intiative website, on Syntropic Initiative outreach materials such as flyers and brochures, as well as in the engineering notebooks and on the robots of teams funded by the program. In-depth sponsorship packages can be found on the sponsorship page. Syntropic Initiative is always willing to discuss additional recognition options.

Syntropic Initiative intends on running introductory VEX robotics classes at local middle schools such as Wells Middle School and Fallon Middle School to prepare middle schoolers for a competitive high school robotics experience. These classes will focus on the basics of building, programming, and CADing. Syntropic Initiative will provide the parts and electronics necessary to make the experience as immersive and hands-on as possible.
